Circular economy in the winery

Simple yet deeply embedded choices that reduce waste and give new life to materials.

For us, sustainability means daily care, not just declarations.

  • Recycling of Cork Stoppers: We ensure we collect every cork stopper from the bottles we open on the estate to put them to new uses. These small fragments of nature are sent to specialised centres to be transformed into valuable materials for green building. It is a simple gesture that ensures a natural resource does not become waste, but continues to live on in other forms.

  • Creative Reuse of Pallets: For our shipments and winery logistics, we have chosen to purchase and reuse only second-hand pallets. This choice allows us to drastically reduce the environmental impact associated with the production of new timber and the related CO₂ emissions. It is a solid example of how resource optimisation can generate both ecological and economic value.

  • Recycling of Label Liners: We are members of the “Anello Forte” network to ensure the proper recovery of the liner, the silicone-coated backing of our self-adhesive labels. Through a chemical- physical process, this waste is separated and regenerated to create new recycled paper and glue. Thanks to this commitment, we recover almost 100% of a material that would otherwise be lost to the environment.
