The finesse of Nebbiolo meets the iconic charm of La Morra wines.

Barolo DOCG del Comune di La Morra

Label
The harp, a subtle harmony between tradition and modernity.

Two vineyards. Two souls. One melody. Annunziata and Boiolo are two small sub-zones of La Morra, each with its own character and identity. Like the strings of a harp which, taken individually, play distinct notes. But when they vibrate together, they create melodic harmonies. We have chosen the harp to illustrate this union. A subtle harmony between memory and modernity.

The Wine

This Barolo is made from a selection of Nebbiolo grapes from two vineyards in the municipality of La Morra: Annunziata and Boiolo are the sub-zones in which they are located. The aim is to express the typical characteristics of the territory – that balsamic elegance and tannic sweetness typical of La Morra – rather than the individual cru. Aged in French oak barrels of 500 and 600 litres capacity. On the nose, balsamic notes are balanced by aromas of small red fruits and violets. The palate is rich and moderately austere, with notes of violet and morello cherry that return in the finish. It opens up nicely on the palate straight away but ages with grace.
